Work experience
I worked for Carter Brown
Contact as a team leader. The Contact Centre is for
families in dispute. The service provides supervised
contact in a safe and secure Teen or Child environment.
Some of the reasons children would have contact at the
centre would be: allegations of domestic violence,
allegations of abuse against a child, concerns about the
emotional impact of contact on the child, when it was
necessary and beneficial to the non resident parent to
have the support of a supervisor during contact.
Since 2005 I have
worked in many areas of Mental Health in the community
and in Secure Units for women. My main role was working with
paranoid schizophrenics and borderline personality
disorders, many dual diagnosed. Most of these women
suffered with depression and suicidal thoughts and self
harming actions. Many of the women I supported had been
the victims of child abuse, domestic violence and/or
mental cruelty,
My recent work
involves adult and children survivors of child abuse,
domestic violence and mental torment from abusers,
abandonment issues and depression. Unsettled children
struggling with life in Spain, I provide a safe, secure
environment that is confidential for any one wishing to
discuss any problems or issues they may have.
